  64         output matching Berkeley's gprof.  The biggest differences

  66         before the call graph; numbers come before explanations;
  67         and there is less gratuitous white space.

  69         variable causes discarding of initial underscores when
  70         printing symbol names.  It is set unless there is a "main"
  71         symbol (without an underscore).
